What to expect
The Byron Bay Surf Festival starts on 24 August and lasts for three full days, concluding on August 27. The festival takes place at Clarkes Beach, Byron Bay NSW.
Every day will be full of diverse activities, with 10 events including surfing, art, music, health, and environment. The Byron Bay Surf Festival is more than a sports competition. It is a celebration of surf culture that will allow you to connect with like-minded people, and introduce special guests who are experts in their fields.
Tickets are available to enter the various competitions that will take place during the festival, ranging from $39 for the Cosmic Creek competition to $110 for advanced pro-level surfers. There are surf events for surfers 18 and under, 50 and over, and even team competitions – there’s something for everyone, no matter how long you’ve been surfing!
